As traditional marketing models fall away, Nettie works to blend a little of the old with a lot of the new to find the right media mix for clients who want to connect with younger, more niche communities through the power of emerging outlets and social networks. A graduate of Michigan State’s School of Journalism, she also works with clients to create interesting and relevant content to push to new media that don’t necessarily have much use for the news release of old. Nettie’s forte was forged through nearly 10 years of agency and freelance work in Chicago and Detroit where she’s led media campaigns for major museum exhibit openings, special events for Major League Baseball, national health care awareness campaigns, annual fundraising drives and even a book launch among many other cultural, retail and nonprofit client campaigns.
